Our friends @ Smash Or Trash Indie Filmmaking are throwing a contest about the creepiest of killers…
Why are Clowns so Scary on the Silver Screen?
Pennywise from Stephen King’s IT. Shivers the Clown from Fear of Clowns. 100 Tears. The Clown at Midnight. Killer Clowns From Outer Space. For decades, clowns – those merry mirth-filled folk that try to bring a smile to your face – have been used to scare people in movies. Large or small screen, big budget or small, clowns creep a lot of people out. Why is this? What makes them so terrifying? Now is your chance to tell us! Tell us in 500 words (or less) on what clowns have scared you in the movies, and why they scare you in general. Now this MUST be in your own words (no imdb, nor wikipedia). The contest will be judged by Filmmaker Kevin Kangas, creator of the FEAR OF CLOWNS movies.
Contest ends September 25th, 2009
Winner will be announced on the Smash or Trash site and will also be contacted by email. The winning entries will be posted on the Smash or Trash Indie Filmmaking website.
