Jennifer’s Body Gets the Comic Treatment

Personally, I’m sick to death of hearing about Megan Fox. From big budget garbage like Transformers to so-called comedies such as How to Lose Friends & Alienate People, the twenty-three year old is certainly making the most of her fifteen minutes.

Her latest will be her first horror flick, Jennifer’s Body, penned by Juno’s Diablo Cody and directed by Æon Flux’s Karyn Kusama. The film tells of a quiet high school student (Amanda Seyfried) who is forced to kill her best friend (Fox) after she begins devouring the male population of their small town.

The movie has been a popular subject for the media for the last twelve months since the talk of the sex symbol appearing topless caused a stir. The latest buzz to surround the project now is a graphic novel, designed by Clerks’ Jim Mahfood to coincide with the feature that is set for release this September, one month after the comic.

Head on over to STYD to view the first nine pages…
