Over the last twenty-five years, Robert Englund has become one of the greatest icons of modern horror cinema with his turn as the demonic child murderer Freddy Krueger in the A Nightmare on Elm Street franchise. Finally, all of his thoughts and experiences will be gathered together in Hollywood Monster: A Walk Down Elm Street with the Man of Your Dream, his memoirs that are set to be published on October 13.
Clocking in at just over three hundred and fifty pages, Hollywood Monster will recount his journey through bit-part status (including appearances in Eaten Alive, Dead and Buried and V) to his breakthrough role as Krueger. The book will be co-scribed by ghostwriter Alan Goldsher, previously known for his collaborations with Fred Willard and the late Bernie Mac.
Full of interesting information and humorous anecdotes, Hollywood Monster will also boast introductions from cult directors Wes Craven and Tobe Hooper.
