Extra Giallo Screening Added to Edinburgh Film Festival

Due to popular demand, the much anticipated screening of Dario Argento’s latest thriller Giallo at the Edinburgh International Film Festival has sold out, forcing the organisers to add an additional date. Originally set to be shown this Thursday at 10:15pm at Filmhouse 1, the film will also be repeated on Sunday at 9:15pm.

Giallo tells of an American stewardess (Emmanuelle Seigner) who teams up with a burnt out cop (Adrian Brody) when her sister (Elsa Pataky) mysteriously disappears, suspected to be the latest victim of a deranged killer known only as Yellow.

Despite his later career being somewhat hit-and-miss, fans always hope that Argento’s latest flick will be a return to his former glory, which included such seminal classics as The Bird With the Crystal Plumage, Deep Red and Suspiria.

For those unable to attend either screening this week, keep an eye out for our exclusive review, coming soon…
