Fans of the eighties classic Night of the Creeps will not only be treated to a special edition DVD this October but the possibility of a sequel at some point in the future. Writer/director Fred Dekker (previously responsible for penning the Steve Miner classic House) recently attended a screening (which featured the original ending) of the 1986 zombie slasher in which he was subjected to a Q&A, where he revealed all sorts of details.
The new DVD, scheduled for release on October 20, will feature a whole host of extras including a commentary from Dekker, one from the cast, a one hour making of, interviews with the special effects artists and many more. During the Q&A, one member of the audience asked if fans will ever be treated to a sequel, to which Dekker asked if the fans wanted one. After an enthusiastic response, the director stated that he written various ideas for a sequel, so keep your fingers crossed for further updates.
